The preschool and kindergarten years are a critical window of opportunity for social-emotional and cognitive development, physical growth and character formation. Just think how much your child has learned! Eighty six percent of the human brain develops at this time. In the caring, enriching environment of Anne Sullivan School, we actively participate in this process, nourishing each child's love for learning. We thank you, parents and families, for partnering with us to guide and teach your children at this important stage of life.
June brings us to the end of another school year. It’s also the time of year in which the children begin the Summer Program. Anne Sullivan School’s summer program provides a safe and caring environment for summer activities. The expansive play yards and grounds at Anne Sullivan School are an ideal “Outdoor Classroom.” The children’s garden, sand and water play areas, easels, bike paths, and open areas for games provide opportunities for children to master the environment, materials, activities and skills. We will be exploring the ocean, it’s water, sports, sand and creatures who live in it. Songs, costumes, puppets and art projects related to the ocean will enhance the daily activities. Besides, the Summer Session provides an opportunity for the children to get to know their new teachers, meet their friends and become acquainted with their new classroom.
Anne Sullivan Summer Program is five and a half weeks and runs from June 27, 2018 through August 3, 2018. The fall session begins Monday, August 13, 2018. For more information, please call us at (951) 678-3557.
